Eli Baumgarten is a composer and pianist. His music showcases fearless artistic instinct characterized by rich harmonies and memorable melodies that evoke a distinct sense of time and place. Combining his influences in jazz, classical, and electronic styles, and drawing on his experience as a professional pianist, Eli composes emotionally penetrating scores for film and TV. He is highly collaborative in his approach alongside filmmakers, with the mission to tell deeper stories.

Eli’s brand new solo release Into Nowhere features a classic jazz trio rhythm section with violin and cello, creating an anything-but-classic sound with a cinematic undertone. The EP is inspired by travels abroad in Australia and New Zealand.

Eli has performed hundreds of shows with various groups and artists throughout the Colorado area where he grew up, frequenting the famous Five Points neighborhood in Denver. He has composed music for ensembles including the Thompson Concert Jazz Ensemble, and the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra, in addition to music for small combos. Eli records and performs his original music with the Eli Baumgarten Trio, and original project Atomica.
